That’s right – captains will officially play for free this year!  With thanks to the Recreation Department, they again agree that being a captain in this league is a big job, and one that is also recognized and appreciated by AASL officials and players.  It is the leadership and communication skills that captains bring to the league that make it so successful. 

The Recreation Department will contact teams who have already paid and provide the reimbursement.  It will be either $75 (if you have fewer than 18 people on your roster), or whatever the prorated amount is per player based on the team fee of $1390.
