NARA permits and conditions After the damage done to NARA this winter by a town resident in a four-wheel-drive truck, Acton Recreation assessed damage to the softball field and outfield and determined that AASL and AB Youth Softball can use the permits we were granted, starting in mid-April and continuing through mid-August.The Town will assess any underground damage to the sprinkler system and this might require repairs. AASL hopes this is done before May 2, and if there is work at the field or a work area marked off on the field, teams will need to adjust practices to not interfere. Some of NARA park is closed to league play, specifically the large open area typically used by soccer in the spring and Pop Warner football in August. Dates for those leagues getting permits is TBD.
