Season Giveaways - By now you and your players should have each received our 2007 giveaways - AASL logo Nalgene-like water bottles. We've heard they've been received well and hope you and your teammates like them too. We've distributed one per registered player, so if you have players who aren't registered, get them registered.

Elm Street Lights Project - As you've seen, the first stages of construction have been completed and the concrete posts are in place for the new lights. The Recreation Department presented to the Planning Board on July 10 and is securing a special permit for the taller poles. Construction is expected to continue on August 8. AASL fundraising is continuing and we're pleased to see many of our players contributing to the project. THANK YOU! Donation statistics are listed by team at http://www.actonasl.com. Help get your team to the top of the list and help us achieve our goal of $10,000 in personal contributions!

Playoffs - The teams in the 2007 AASL playoffs will be the 8 top-ranked teams only. As Matt mentioned at the Captains' Meeting in April, the Elm Street Lights project conflicts with our playoff schedule and we have less field space at the end of this season than in previous seasons. Since the project might take about 3 weeks and needs to be completed before Labor Day when Pop Warner football begins using Elm Street field, we can use Elm Street last on August 7.  This affects available field time and makes it impossible to fit a full 16-team tournament. Lost & Found - Matt's basement is still full of things left behind at the fields. Please check the Lost & Found list online to see if anything is yours and can be returned.

Make-up Games - There are a few games that have not yet been made up. There are only a few game slots left. We want you to play, so please contact your opposite captain and arrange the game. Our regular-season ends on Wednesday, August 1!

End of Season Pickup Game -  Weather-permitting, we hope to use one of the evenings after the playoffs conclude to have a pickup game at NARA open to all players. We'll send out more information about this later and post information online.
